Application Process

Prospective residents who have already visited The Meadows and met with staff need only submit their Application for Residence to begin the sign-up process. Click the "Application Form" button below to download and print a copy of our standard form. Thereafter, please submit your completed Application for Residence, along with the $300 Application Fee to:

Even if you have not yet visited The Meadows, please feel free to print out and submit the form now if you wish to begin the application process before visiting and selecting your unit. The application procedure typically takes just a few days.

If more than one person is to occupy the apartment, the additional cost for the second occupant at The Meadows is only $225 per month if daily breakfast meal is selected. Leasing staff will be happy to email floor plans for specific apartments, as they become available from time to time for new residents.

Any residents of The Meadows are guaranteed later priority access to independent or assisted living accommodations in the New Horizons community if the need should ever arise. Located directly next door on the same suburban campus, New Horizons has accommodations for more than 200 seniors with many differing plans for assistance. In addition to assisted living services, New Horizons offers a very expansive program of interesting and appropriate activities, whereas at The Meadows, the activities are almost all arranged by various resident groups.

Both New Horizons are strictly not-for-profit communities owned by Cummings Foundation, a $1.2 billion net worth charitable foundation, founded in 1986 by William S. and Joyce M. Cummings. New Horizons in Marlborough has grown steadily under the same Executive Director since before its opening in 1992.
